LOAD LIFTING DEVICE INSPECTION
|
 |
| You may be surprised to know that approximately 50%
of all product damage that is lift truck related is due to equipment
that has deteriorated beyond its original performance
specifications. Carriage cracks, worn forks or bad hydraulic
lines can decrease a truck's load lifting capacity by as much as
75%. That means a 5,000 lbs. capacity truck may only have the
lifting capacity of 1,250 lbs.! Catâ
has recognized this potential danger and offers a comprehensive
analysis of all your mast and carriage components. Each area
is thoroughly checked for cracks, wear, and damage that may occur
during normal operation of your lift truck. Non-destructive
testing procedures are used by factory-trained technicians,
utilizing special tools to check fork deflection, for thickness,
carriage weld integrity, and roller condition and alignment.
Proper chain length is then measured to reveal cracks and stretching
that may have occurred. |

| When we complete our testing of your equipment,
